To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It's an easy-to-read, confidence-giving book which I've read most of ( bad grammar there lol but I mean up to where I'm 'at' with my systematic review) and have referred back to when I've reached the "OMG! While other texts may provide a broad overview of the process, strengths of the current text include its attention to detail, its practical approach to situations that may occur in the process, and its inclusion of responses to questions frequently asked by students.

Registered address: Unit 5, Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, LE5 3EF, United kingdom.Prior to qualifying as a clinical psychologist, she worked at LRiG for several years, conducting systematic reviews, particularly in the field of psychology. I have received very little guidance on how to conduct a systematic review at postgraduate level at university.

SR methodology is a dry topic, but the style of writing in this book is engaging and accessible and the text is illustrated with real examples that bring the whole topic alive. The lectures provided on the topic by my University were fantastic, but I still felt daunted by the process when it was time to go it alone. I sometimes found that this bok lacked some depth so I used it in conjunction with "Systematic Approaches to a Successful literature review" which has a more formal way to it but explains things in more depth. It takes you through each stage of the systematic review process in chapters, and with different authors writing the material, it always comes across as "fresh" if that makes sense. There are plenty of helpful examples and it is so readable and does not bore the pants off you (well, as much as a book on SR can do! There's a World of books to choose from such as: Children's Books, Range includes Baby Books (0-3), Books for Toddlers (3-5), Early Readers (5-7), Childrens Story books (7-11), Young Teens (11-14), Young Adults (14-16) and Childrens Educational Books. With a friendly, accessible style, the book covers every step of the systematic review process, from planning to dissemination. Angela Boland has worked at LRiG (Liverpool Reviews and Implementation Group) since it was established in 2001 and has carried out many systematic reviews of both clinical effectiveness and cost effectiveness of health care interventions. My bookshelves are already laden with "How to do it" books on systematic reviews – very few of these are readable, informative and useful. It's an invaluable resource for masters-level students completing a systematic review as a capstone project or for doctoral-level students beginning work on their dissertation projects. I quickly scanned this before starting my systematic review to give me an idea of the whole process.
